Kamitsubaki-shi Kensetsuchuu (Kamitsubaki City Under Construction) is a 3D-animated Japanese anime series that premiered on July 3, 2025, on TBS. Set seven years after a global disaster, the story follows five magical girls known as Witchlings each voiced by members of the virtual artist group V.W.P.
They use their enchanted singing voices to battle Tesseractors, monstrous entities born from human malice, in the technologically advanced Kamitsubaki City. The series blends music, fantasy, and mystery, with its opening theme “Utahime” performed by V.W.P.
