In an alternate history, Japan’s isolation is maintained by giant robots called Onigami, as the Meiji Restoration never occurred. The story follows Keiichiro Tokugawa, an ambitious man who must unite Japan despite a peculiar condition that causes him to break out in hives upon touching a woman.
He discovers his lineage to pilot the legendary giant robot Susanoo, but it requires a female co-pilot, leading to comedic and action-filled conflicts.
